Dental Check-up and Cleaning

Regular dental check-ups and cleanings serve as a preventive measure, ensuring the health of your teeth and gums while minimizing the risk of tooth loss and dental decay. The Australian Dental Association (ADA) recommends that you visit your dentist regularly – at least once every six months.

All children should visit the dentist every 6 to 12 months for a check-up, even if they don’t appear to have any problems. We also provide fluoride varnish and fissure sealant treatment for children which is effective in the prevention of dental caries.

Standard Check-up and Cleaning Package

Our standard package includes up to 2 bite wing X-rays if necessary. It encompasses all necessary check-up and cleaning services to safeguard your oral health.

Deep Teeth Cleaning

We offer a thorough deep teeth cleaning for patients suffering from gum diseases.

Periodontal (gum) disease is an infection and inflammation of the tissues that hold your teeth in place. If left untreated, they can lead to tooth loss. Deep teeth cleaning, also known as scaling and root planing, is designed to treat gum diseases like periodontitis and prevent them from worsening. The procedure removes plaque and tartar beneath the gum line and smoothing out rough spots on the teeth roots where bacteria can hide.

Common Emergency Dental Issues

  • Toothache: This could be due to a cavity or a tooth infection. Temporarily alleviate the pain by avoiding consumption of extremely hot or cold foods until you can visit our clinic.
  • Sudden tooth injury or breakage: This might occur due to an accident such as biting on hard objects. Try to preserve the broken part and come to us as soon as possible.
  • Swollen or bleeding gums: This could be a sign of periodontal disease. Rinse your mouth with warm saltwater to alleviate symptoms before seeing the dentist.
  • Fallen out or damaged crown or bridge: If possible, retain the fallen part and contact us promptly for repair.
